3 SECONDS DUMB
Band/artist history
Serafin (guitars/bass/junk foods) had gone in hiatus from his study after unsuccessfully hustling school work in UST and playing covers. He then went back to Bicol to meet a neurotic poet/Counselor by the name of Ahmad (songwriter/vocals/Chicken skins). They both discovered that they have the same cathartic passion for experimenting with covers and doing originals. Unfortunately, the music scene in their hometown isnt open for this kind of creativity. They continue to play, experimenting with blues/classic rock/new wave revivals done in a new twist with a band called Pepsi Paloma Project and during free times, they do the only thing that would make them free.
At present, Serafin continued his architecture studies in Bicol. He is now legally married to his weather beaten "Washburn" guitar, giving it the best jazz licking it ever had.
Ahmad however is still neurotic.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
yeah...uhuh uhuh...no regular gigs...if there's a good show, we'll be sure to provide the soundtrack...
Your musical influences
Ahmad: early Seattle scene grunge forerunners (Nirvana, STP, Alice in Chains etc.) and geek/pop/emo wonders (Beatles, Weezer, Rivermaya, Barbies Cradle etc.)
Serafin: John Mayer,Oasis, Eric johnson, Steve Morse, Eric Clapton
What equipment do you use?
Washburn guitar,Ovation acoustic, RJ bass, Yamaha PSR-520 keyboards, Shure Microphone, Sonar 2.2, drum loops/percussions from Sonar and Yamaha keyboards
Anything else?
The root of our music is undeniably grunge/pop but it has a lot of layers that somehow distort this typecasting. So c'mon, give us a listen...let us define the mood...and you should do the swing...tan-tadadan-tan!
P.S.
if you think, the two songs in our music page sum up our whole sound then think again...3 songs are currently in post production..expect something different...even louder...

The mixing and production are already great. These first two songs also show a lot of talent behind them, as well as originality! Interested in hearing more! Joseph

Hi,
I am Nathaniel Savella Ramirez, a Filipino-American singer-songwriter. All my songs that I have recorded so far are in Pilipino. They came from still a deep love for the Philippines. Despite being away for more than 15 years now. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Oh dam! What a twist on that beat. I likes that beat. That second voice needs to come up a bit. It sure does sound like some bar music at first and then you tricked out the whole tune. I got some blues rock over here. Ya might like it? Anyways, put up more and let me know. I'm curious to see what else ya got. Much Respect. gone
