Bringin back authenticity
I started writing poetry early back in elementary. Always been into music since a toddler rapping mob deep & the lox my uncles had on cassette tapes. I actually started recording & writing more when my mom passed back in 2012, music was really all I thought about. I wrote a lot & only recorded half of my songs from ‘12 up to 18’ fast forward to ‘22 I’m back in the booth still with the same message just elevating my flow.
I would’ve had 2 performances but the first one was in high school wrote a new song 3 days before the competition after getting tired of the song I rehearsed for weeks just to get on stage & forget the very first bar. I redeemed myself by performing 10 years later for an event in Charlotte & definitely put on like I was pose too. It could’ve been better but it was my first performance just hoping for more to come
It’s hard to pinpoint my influences because I’m looking at different artists for different things. I listen to Rap/HipHop Reggae & Rock/Country music. I swear I could go all day about who I listen too but all in all I have over 2000 & counting songs on phone that I play to get me right.
