Taek One & Shux Ams are:
38th Parallel since 2003. Changed to 38th Brigade in 2005 due to copyright complications. Changed again to Cross Carriage in 2006 due to renewed musical ambitions.
Taek and Shux met through a mutual friend and after realizing one another's passion for Hip Hop, they started recording demos together. Upon a couple sessions they decided to start a group. It was not long before they were self-named "38th Parallel" only to realize the name had been taken by a Christian rock band (that's not even Korean). They began calling themselves 38th Brigade and have since recorded over 100 tracks together.
