Group formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2001, by Maxx (vocals) and Diego S. Velazquez (guitar). Also consisted of Hernan Prado (bass), Leandro Lijalad (drums) and guest musicians that play piano, bandoneon and assorted instruments. Debut album "End of Illusions" recorded in Buenos Aires in 2002, released in March 2003. 020 (zeroIIzero) is a rock band with modern tango influences. Like a blend between David Bowie and Astor Piazzola. 020 lyrics portray the decadence of the system; its evil manipulations and how most people becomes a silent witness to this tragedy.
The Big difference between 020 and other rock bands is that the Bandoneon takes the place of the lead guitar, as well as being used as a rythm instrument. It's musical roots could be found in Modern Tango, 70's progressive and jazz rock and some english theatrical bands with vintage production.Contact
