First of a new set of songs, after finishing the Masks EP, and continuing the slightly darker theme.
This contains bits from each of the 5 tracks on the Masks EP. You can find the full version on my website - http://www.snowkittenstudio.co.uk
This song isn't actually a part of the Kael mini album (the song below this is the sampler version of that album) even though it is meant to be part of the whole theme. Intended to be slower and with more "space" than most of my other tracks.
This is just a little sampler, roughly 30 seconds per track, of a new set of songs I finished very recently, all under the title of 'Kael.' You can hear the full versions of these songs on my website - http://snowkittenstudio.lapine.org.uk if you ta
The first completed song from a new set that I'm working on. It kinda changes in mood as it progresses.
Poppy song by my standards, I guess.
The original idea for this song came from a picture I was working on, but the original version was a slower piece that was mostly just string sounds. So this was what it eventually developed into, using parts from that. Yawn ye not. ;)
This song was written around a guitar track created by The Modern Art Quartet. The guitar therefore is credited to Dave Brinkworth as is the intro drum loop.
This remix is of Sunrise, by Shannon Hurley. The original vocals and the piano track that I used in the remix were released into the wilds of CCMixter (by Shannon Hurley) on a CC Licence. So that is why I was allowed to remix it as and when I wanted
Slightly moodier song than usual, though it didn't turn out quite as moody as I originally planned.
This song is a follow up, of sorts, to the 10 minute lumbering beast I wrote a few years ago called Bridges. This take on the song uses one of my favourite bits from the original, and makes it a more upbeat version rather than the more laid back orig
Intentionally poppy sounding song, just to see what I could come up with.
Semi pop ambient thing. Or something like that.
A slightly more dark edged song this time, intentionally, but it turned out sounding more commercial than originally intended. Not that its a problem but meh.
Intentionally commercial poppy upbeat song and all that.
Ambient electronica that starts slow and builds quickly. Or something like that.
Ambient poppy thingy. I don't actually know what it could be classified as really.
Slow ambient haunting thingy.
Darkish synth instrumental, kinda haunting and perhaps a little menacing.
Darker and slower haunting synth song than usual...
Catchy upbeat and shamelessly 80s synthpop song.
A slightly more strange song than usual, and described by someone else as a 'sad strange piece of music.' Which seems about right.
