Downriver is a collective of people from Michigan and Massachusetts...However, at the moment the driving forces behind the band are Juan Florencia, Chris Sweetapple, Quentin Lewis and Angela Labrador. Other members include Boone Shear and Mark Gjukich.
Why this name?
I took the name from my hometown of Wyandotte, MI. a part of the southern Detroit River area commonly referred to as Downriver.
Do you play live?
At the moment we are concentrating on home recording, but plan to play in the Amherst, Massachusetts (USA) area next year 06'.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it better e.g. more accessible.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yes!
