Zoios is an attempt at something wonderful, albeit pretentious.
At the age of 12, I was subjected to my first audio composition program, Cakewalk Pro Audio (the original). Being the computer nerd I was, I picked it right up and worked at it for hours at a time, scratching out rock and contemporary orchestral tunes alike. Having the experience of orchestra and cello on my side, notation was a breeze and helped me explore what sounds I would soon develop in later attempts. Years passed and I caught onto more software, eventually delving deeper into orchestral music with the Finale series.
But August of 2005 changed my world of music as I was introduced to much more versatile software. Without experience in production, the usage of parametric equalizers, flange, overdrive, distortion and so on was all gibberish to me. I picked up the program and messed with it ceaselessly as I did at 12 years old. The more I played around, the better I got.
Now here I am, 24 years old and experimenting any which way I can with even newer technology and staying content with my Unknown stature. I just don't want mindless fans, I want respect. If you enjoy the music, feel free to let me know and leave it at that.
No live performance for me. I'm a producer/songwriter, and perhaps the only way my music would be presented live is through other musicians who would like to adapt it for the purpose. As long as they keep their admission sales and don't take credit as the original composer, I'd be all for it.
My music doesn't totally reflect my influences, but what I do consider influences are: Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Shpongle, NIN, Collide, Porcupine Tree, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai and previous musical experience.
A mind heavily steeped in fantasy, hope and love.
Fantastic tunes you have going on.
You've given me quite a few ideas for some new tunes. :)Very interesting soundingHey Zoios!

-NeonSkyeThanks for stopping by and checking out my tunes! You saw right through my classical influences ;) I'm listening to your band radio as I write and so far I am loving what I hear! Beautiful, rich textures and very well arranged. I really dig the way you work your ambient songs; building them up without extending beyond the boundries of the genre. Keep up the excellent work and I wish you the best!
