We the band Zither are here in this earth to rock the crowds by the sound of different type of musical instrument.We have five members in the band.3 guitarist,a drummer and a vocalist and we would like to give a live concert.we have recorded one song and it has been played many times on the media.The title of our first song recorded is "yagya".Its the song of the peace and is focus to the situation having now in our country and was dedicate to god lord shiva.we would like the jam up in the crowds and like to perform the best performance in the concert being wild.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Our band Zither is established in 2000A.D. Its been 3 yrs.We have performed many stage show and participated in many music competion. Shikhar Beat contest,Inter college music competion,Kathmandu Utsav and many more. Our band have a unity too and there is no discussion while jamming in to our practice room. We have recorded one song in 2002 A.D and it was on media. The title of the song is "Yagya" its the song about the peace and was focus to situation having now in our country and dedicate to the god Lord Shiva.And we are now in the process to get a album. And we have compose 9 songs for the album and it takes time to get into media.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes of-coures we play live.Performing live is very much excited.We've played live in the stage and in the street concert.We like it cause playing live is very excited and exclusive and likes to watch the crowds dancing around the stage.And we have many special moments and the most special moments is when we give first live concert in the stage and like by many artist our performance and the song.
Your musical influences
Firstly we only play guitar little bit by sitting in the junction and then we didn't know that there was a drummer at the back side of our junction who play very well and one day we heard the drum beat and meet that person and that person is none other than our fren prashant, the drummer and then we jamed-up by hollow guitar in his room then we planned to form a band and our musical influences are we own our band members and other frens support us.
What equipment do you use?
We use elcetric guitar and foreign distruction.
Anything else?
Ummmmmmmmmmm its very difficult to come in the media and known by all the people. We like the people to know us and hear us. That'll be a great helpful to continue with our music life and we would do anything for that.
