Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Aspiring music producer , songwriter, entrepreneur Zekeius Zeke Hibler was born in Greenville, Mississippi on November 14, 1971. He began his music study on the snare drum at the age of 11 and continued throughout high school. He was inspired to pursue a career in the music industry by his cousin who was a keyboard player in a local band. Hibler later began to pick out popular song melodies on a small keyboard. It wasnt long before he began to compose and record his own tunes. He went on to the University of Southern Mississippi to receive a Bachelors Degree in Music Industry with an emphasis in Percussion Studies. He has served as a school band director for thepast seven years. He has also served as a church drummer for the past twelve years. Zeke has had the honor of playing drums for several gospel artists such as, Maurette Brown Clarke, Brent Jones, Tamela Mann, Paul Porter of the Christianaires, and Hip Hop Gospel Artist Canton Jones.
Zeke Hibler currently presides over a budding music production venture called ZFH Music. Zeke has produced and co-written songs for various local artists in the South Mississippi area. He has also produced radio commercials for area politicians. Some of Hiblers goals are to produce music for recording artists, television shows and commercials, films, web sites, etc. Genres include gospel, hip hop, r&b, and pop. Zekes musical style is a composite of soul, hip hop, blues, rock, classical, r&b, and world music. .
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play drums at church every week. I love it. Anytime in God's presence is a special moment.

Musical influences are Prince, Teddy Riley, Joh P. Kee, Donald Lawrence, George Clinton, Earth Wind and Fire, film composers John Williams and Danny Elfman, Dr. Dre, The RZA, and Rick Ruben
What equipment do you use?
Zekes music production arsenal includes a Yamaha Motif 6, Reason 3.0, Garage Band, Cubase Studio-4, Nady SCM800 and Sure SM57 microphones, Samson Resolv 80a Active Studio Monitors, Oxygen 8 and Akai MPD16 Midi Controllers, Omega Lexicon Audio Inteface, and Toshiba Satellite Laptop and Apple iMac computers.
