- now what kind of name is that?
Knowing how hard it is judging a book by the cover, judging a man by his name is equally as impossible.
To make a long story short, Zerener was born in , Canada in 1965. His father, a German schoolteacher and his Mother, a Norwegian nurse, made a living in the Yukon wilderness before moving to Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
The family split up and his Mother took him and his two older sisters and moved to Norway.
started to play guitar quite early, and was an huge Beach Boys fan until he discovered Johnny Cash and country music in general. His biggest influence, however, is Bobby Bare. After hearing Bobby Bares “Drunk and Crazy” album, he realized that country and rock can be combined- either as a country rock song or a rocking country song.
wrote his first song at the age of 16, but it took a couple of hundred songs before he really thought he had the gift for song writing.
In 1995 he released his debut CD ””, beside his music, is also a well respected web designer/ developer and photographer.liheni's station
