Zap Guru
Improvisational Jazz/Rock fusion. Guitar, keys, bass, drums.
As Frank Zappa said, "No commercial potential"
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Zap Guru Family are quadruplets from different mothers. When they were born they were very young. It was on a family vacation to the top (well almost) of K2 that the children were inspired to take up instruments, despite the warnings of the silly guru (no relation) they met on the mountain. They have been running from the law for many years now and their little legs are oh so tired. Listening to off kilter music has led them down this path of ruin you see before you. We must apologize to anyone listening to our deranged soundscapes, but little common sense and tight fitting shoes have brought us to this point.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We just recorded new music and will be looking for venues soon.
Your musical influences
too many to name here. Presently predominantly Fusion.
What equipment do you use?

Anything else?
I'm hoping for a stable band this year.
