I play with 4 bands in London, Ont. and I love the drums.
Your musical influences
I'm into 70's rock n' roll (Zeppelin, Hendrix, Beatles, Doors, etc.) and jazz. My influences are Elvin Jones, Steve Gadd, Neil Peart, Buddy Rich... there's more, but it would take a while.
What equipment do you use?
Kit: Pearl Export
Toms: 10x11, 11x13
Floor: 16x16
Bass: 15 1/2 x 22
Snare: 6 1/2 x 14
My snare, unfortunatly, is not a Pearl. I used to have a Linko set of drums (they made like 1 set ever, and I had it). I sold the kit, but the snares got mixed up. So now I have the Linko. Oh well, at least it isn't horrible.
Cymbals: Zildjian Smitiar 20" Ride
Sabian B8 16" Crash
Sabian AA Metal-X 16" Crash
And my sweet brand new Zildjian 14" A Custom Mastersound Hi-Hats
Skins: For my snare I use Remo Coated Ambassador, all my toms have Remo Pinstripes and my bass has a Remo Powerstripe 4
Hardware: A recently puchased Pearl P-120 bass pedal,
Pearl H-800W Hat Pedal, 2 Pearl cymbal stands and a Network cymbal stand.
Sticks: Pro-Mark 7A Oak, Headhunter Bundles, Zildjian 7A Dips,
Vic Firth Steve Gadd signatures and some good quality unkown brushes.
Anything else?
