Hey, My name is Zack Knauer. I'm a singer songwriter of various styles and tastes in Orlando, FL by way of Hydeville, VT and Keene, NH. I like to make music :)
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
You don't really need to know the boring details, so I'll make it brief. Born in Hydeville VT. College in Keene NH. now living in Orlando FL. along the way I played sax then guitar, and now I make music on a regular basis.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yup. love it. All over Central Florida. The greater Orlando area mostly but I get out to Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach, and New Smyrna Beach a lot too. I used to play all over New England, and once every so often I try to get back to Vermont to do a show.
Your musical influences
My base influences are: Micheal Jackson, Nirvana, RadioHead, The Beatles, Cake, Everclear, Silverchair, Incubus, Our Lady Peace, Big Pun, Slick Rick, Jack Johnson Marc Broussard, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Gavin Degraw and others really there is too many.
What equipment do you use?
I mostly play a Gibson j180 acoustic-electric guitar. My favorite toy is my Boss RC-120 XL loop station. I also have some recording equipment and some pa stuff for performing live, and a couple extra acoustic guitars a Gretsch synchromatic electric guitar some crappy keyboards a piano and an alto saxophone
