Band/artist history

Zmackng Forheds

...is known in many names such as Smashing Foreheads, Zmacking 4heds, Etits ni Vlad, Banda ni Petrache and (most popularly know as) Z4H.

They helped furnish the rock scene in CSQC (where the band was founded) back in 2004, alongside indie bands namely Bandido and Paddy Wagon. At first, Z4H looked like a typical garage band that basically do cover songs from other bands of the same genre, PuNK!

The 1st line-up was:

Ben De Leon - Rhythm/Vocals

Troy Co - Lead

Choi Petrache - Bass

Ariel De Leon - Drums

With the bands uh..."creative?" outfits when playing on stage, running around, pulling each others cables, and their crazy antics while playing, they always have flunked in playing a good show. As they were now making a name in the music scene in CSQC as a "PUNKulet na banda".

Now that Z4H was known, they decided to make their own songs and record it. But, not having any money to rent a studio, they ended up founding the so-called LB Studios (LB - Low Budget), as a exclusive studio for Z4H's jamming and recording and sleeping and peeping at others houses. By the way, LB studios was Choi's (Bassist) house. After a couple of weeks band practice in LB Studios, Troy (Lead) left the band for personal reasons.

The 2nd line-up:

Ben De Leon - Guitars/Vocals

Choi Petrache - Bass

Ariel De Leon - Drums

In the pre-summer 2005, before going to a gig at our friends house, Z4H made their first ever EP entitled "Suck my Manny Pacquiao EP, Vol. 1". The EP was not so clear and only a few people have them. It was composed of 11 tracks. 2 of those tracks were Z4H originals.

In May of 2005, yet another storm hit Z4H. The bands first drummer, Ariel, was going toi migrate to Canada on June. But, before the end of the summer, Z4H pushed through in producing their 2nd and 3rd EP.

The 2nd EP was entitled "Suck my Manny Pacquiao EP, Vol. 2", the record is at a normal quality, has 29 Tracks, most of it are covers from Green Day and Sum 41, about 7 tracks are originals from Z4H. Once again, only a few people know of this 2nd EP.

Now, the 3rd EP was the bands new identity. It was entitled (as usual) "Suck my Manny Pacquaio EP" (yup, thats right. Without the Volumes!), with 18 Tracks of pure, untapped, Z4H punkish bullshit. Z4H now matured! NO MORE COVERS, NO MORE IMITATIONS, PURE Z4H!

After the departure of Ariel (Drummer), Bens brother, Gian, joined the band to be the drummer and Choi found one of his classmates, Vladimir Reyes, to be able to complete the once 4heads line-up.

The Line-up now is:

Ben De Leon - Rhythm Guitar and Vocals

Vlad Reyes - Lead Guitar and Back-Up Vocals

Choi Petrache - Bass Guitar and Back -Up vocals

Gian De Leon - Drums

Thereon, equipped with new materials and new influences, Z4H produced another 3 EP's, with also a little help from inactive members and ofcourse LB Records.
