Hailing from New Orleans East, Louisiana, Yung Tee 74 returns with purpose in his long-awaited third installment, The Preparation Vol. 3. Influenced by the emotional honesty of Lil Boosie, the independent grind mentality of No Limit Records, and the explosive delivery of Mystikal, his sound bridges eras while staying rooted in the South.
Starting his journey at 13 and recording his first official track, “Walk Like A Model, at 19, Yung Tee 74 built his foundation during the golden mixtape era with Da Preparation Vol. 1 (2011) and The Preparation Vol. 2 (2012) on DatPiff.
Now, over a decade later, The Preparation Vol. 3 isn’t nostalgia it’s elevation.

I have always been a student of Hip Hop ever since I can remember. I was borned Louisiana so my majority of my life, it was No Limit & Cash Money to mass world. I was more intrigued with Tommy Boy records who firsf introduce me Mystikal music, then it was like a volcano eruption from there on. I loved Hip Hop from every angle and region.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I have. My first performance was actually in Kansas barber shop for my song "Walk Like A Model" after I was blessed by DJ who started people it rotation at the local clubs which help bring more awareness. I also performed in a club called "It'll Do" which was Downtown Dallas. I had nerves coming from everywhere, but it was a great experience and the crowd was pleased.
Your musical influences
The ability to create art through words was and still is my most major influences. It is similar to painting a picture where the details for each bar, the set up, the aura, tone in your voice is equally critical to the layout. As I wrote music, I love the challenges of making the listener's ear pleasure but leave their mind solve the puzzle on my song/albumWhat equipment do you use?
