The name Yung Prof came from Yung Profyt until confusion with a fellow rapper from Toledo led to the change. Prof’s main influences have to be Tupac, Kanye West, T.I., DSR, and Swisha House. Yung Prof is here to bring what’s missing in underground music, quality. He does real songs that turn out to be hits, therefore his talent needs to spread as far as possible. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Prof wrote his first rap at the age of ten, but he didn’t realize back then how great he would be. He did his first song when he was 16 and he’s been doing it ever since. With five mixtapes under his belt, Yung Prof is only getting started. He is currently promoting for his album I Reign Supreme, which will be released fall 2008. Be on the lookout for the I Reign Supreme promo tour which will be in a city near you!
