Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My name is Brandon Meyer his is Talbray Floyd. We have known each other for 15 years. I'm 20 he's 19. I was born in Florida he was born in Texas. We both moved to Council Bluffs Iowa at the same time on opposite ends of the block. Had a little scuffle the first time we met but after that we was road dawgs from then on.
As we grew up we both started getting in trouble and getting locked up, so there was a time when we didn't see each other for a long periods of time. We saw each other from time to time in different correctional facilities. I went back to Florida for a while. Then came back. I got job working at the same place he was working. We started fuckin around writin shit at work to pass the time and one day we was like fuck it, we gon' make an album. That's how it started.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've only been at this ten months and we have 1 mixtape and we almost have the first full album complete. We have only done 1 show so far at The Cavern, but we toar it up and sold all the copies of the cds we brought. I'm crunkt abot the next one.
Your musical influences
The greatest musical inspiration to me was the late great Tupac Shakur. RIP. His words inspired me because he spoke from the heart about real life shit that a lot of people could relate to. Also the fact that he didn't give a fuck about what anybody thought or said about him he just said what he meant.
Other artist that inspired me for other various reasons include; Twista, Tech N9ne, Bone Thugz N Harmony, and not to mention Eminem. What? I am white!lol
