WELCOME...MEET Yung Cassius/J.DAHMER
Milan Ester aka Young Cassius/ J.Dahmer was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 7th, 1989. Two years later he moved to the city he is now living in, Southfield. Residing on 8 mile and Evergreen he is one of the most talented up and coming artist in Michigan. Since 4th grade he has been listening to artists such as Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Cassidy.
Over the past years, hes taken his style from artists like these and molded it into his own by adding a spitfire flow and some of the hottest punches that will ever grace your ears. He started writing his flows down in the 6th grade and hasnt looked back. Money is a goal for Yung Cassius but its not what drives him to make better music, he wants to stay true to who he is and what his music is about. Yung has some big goals,My main goal is to let the people in the world hear what real music is sounding like because I feel that after people in the game start making money and get famous they stop caring about the quality of there music and
just care about materialistic things
Although hes still young (hence the name) he is very serious about his music. When Yung Cassius steps into the booth his entire mentality changes, he isnt Milan. He is Yung Cassius/ J.Dahmer. Yung aims to please when he records one of his many impeccable songs.Well when I record I try to think about everything I say I have to say it to make the listener believe it, because if I say it in a voice like I dont believe it; I cant expect anybody else too believe it. So basically I go into the booth with the attitude that before I leave im going to have some heads nodding and mouths opening in amazement from the lines I put forth. Rapping is more then a hobby for the 16 year old Yung Cassius.
Sounding like Cassidy with his pronunciation of words and punchlines, he delievers better than a lot of artists. With a PAC-like work ethic he strives to record 3 songs a day; while still maintaining the overall quality that people know him for having. Also keeping a pretty decent gpa in school (2.8-2.9).
When battling, Yung Cassius makes sure to take no opponents lightly, When I battle people I try to think about something that would make me freeze up if someone said it to me.His battle experiences shines through on his records with his consistently and occasionally jaw dropping punches. When listening to a Yung Cassius record, you will want your rewind button so you can check exactly what he said, because sometimes its unbelievable. Although there are many rappers throughout the state and country striving to get signed, Yung Cassius will surely stand out. Not only with his skills but with his professionalism on and off the microphone. He stands out among a crowd of thousands. I think the thing that separates me from the rest of the rappers trying to get signed is that Im a young dude bringing to the table what a lot of people signed could bring. Style, Flow and the true love for the game.
Already with one cd under his belt, Yung Cassius has huge aspirations for his next cd Lyrical Knockout. On Lyrical Knockout, he will be featuring many other local artists such as Doughboi, Young Ace and MC K. He surely brings a lot to the table and would bring a lot to any label. Yung Cassius isnt just looking to make rap records hes looking to change the entire music industry, and he will. With a name like J.Dahmer. Its a obvious fact that he eats tracks and any competion.

Band/artist history
I'm an inspiring rap artist, looking to mkae hits for the streets. Also to get my name around the globe....It's EASY
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've performed at a couple of schools and some clubs. I'll be hitting up my talent show in the upcoming months. There is a showcase in a couple of months. For a guy named J.Hill, that I will be performing in. Besides that I really dont have to much other things planned. I'm still weighing out my options from a couple of labels. Waiting on the contracts to go threw so my lawyer can review them and tell me who's the best choice.
So far, a real special moment was when I had my first meeting with a label (BSE). And I was nervous and sh*t. So we had the meeting. And the same day I had it, they contacted me showing love and telling me how I came professional. Adding how they were surprised that it was my first time with a label. So that meant alot. Because in my eyes it shows I was doing something right.
ANOTHER ONE OF MY MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS AS A ARTIST WAS WHEN I WENT TO MY FIRST STUDIO, TO WATCH A WELL KNOWN PRODUCER (BEI MAEJOR) LACE TRACKS AND SHOW ME AND ONE OF MY DUDES DA ROPES TO BEING IN THE STUDIO. FROM WHAT I HEAR, THE STUDIO ESTABLISHMENT WAS VERY PRESTIGE. SO FOR HIM TO GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET SUM YOUNG BOYS A LOOK AT HOW SH*T REALLY GOES IN THE STUDIO; WAS REAL BIG TO ME AND MY CAREER. I'LL NEVER FORGET IT, AND I HAVE MAD RESPECT FOR HIM DOING THAT. MUCH LOVE BEI
Your musical influences
1.) Cassidy: For his lyrical abilities and delievery. He has a way of making tracks for commerical (hotel), but also make tracks that appeal to the hood (IMMA HUSTLA). So he's one of my musical influences.
2.) Jay Z: Businessman/Rapper/Entrepreneur, I mean it's no stop for that dude. I would love to make it in the rap business then be able to fade back as the king like he did. He's another one of my musical influences because of his approach to make the listener feel what he's saying.
3.) Bei Maejor: He's a real cool down to earth producer, and in my opnion I feel that since he see's how hungry i am; he takes me under his wings. Constantly giving me good advice, and showing me the ropes. I commend him on making me a better and more hardworking artist. So one day I can make moves the same way, he's making. Even though i'm a rapper and he's a producer. He's also one of my musical influences because he's one of the first dudes i've known to make moves in the game bigtime, and still help up and coming artist like myself.
That concludes my musical influences!
What equipment do you use?
When im not in a profiessional studio i use Cool Edit Pro (Record), MXL 2001 (microphone) and a US-122 TASCAM (ADAPTER)
