Man, it's like this...I'm a young dude. Run DMC, KRS-One, Rakim, Sugar Hill Gang, Bizmark, then there's tha Marvin Gaye, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley...all those dudes, they weren't played on the radio when I was growing up, they were past my time so I had to go back and find out what their music was really about and how tha music that I hear today came to be. But tha firsthand influences...man ummm...Pac, Biggie, Eazy, Dre, Snoop, Bone Thugs, Dogg Pound, DMX, Phil Collins, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, TQ, Nate Dogg, Ice Cube, Eminem, Shade Sheist, Rappin' 4-Tay, Yukmouth, Xzibit, Aaliyah, man...its like everything I've heard has influenced me.
But I can't forget my boyz in Everyday Emcees and another big influence is everyday life. Gyea.
