was born to Ronald and Cynthia Stewart and raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant part of Brooklyn. Daniel Stewart, the youngest of three brothers knew he had a gift to sing. Both of his brothers, Ronald and Michael also have talents in music, and ever since they were little kids, all of them knew that they wanted to be in the music business. He studied music under his Uncle Butch at a very young age and over the years, Decent has evolved into a talented singer/songwriter/producer.
