Miami-based singer Yohany, a lovely newcomer of Cuban descent, is heating up the Pop, Latin, Urban, R&B, and Dance scene with her single "At the Bar," but radio needs to make a swift and impassioned detour to the title track of her debut album, "All That I Want." What a beautiful piece of music. It was composed by Tommy Barbarella (an alumnus of Prince's band) and one Angela Joy. Sung with much loveliness by Yohany in a vein similar to, say, Vanessa Williams. It's a touching plea for love and companionship as opposed to "bucks-n-bling." The soothing, lightly grooving track, the heartfelt words and Yohany's ultra-sensitive vocal rendering makes "All That I Want" a sleeper worth seeking.

Yohany has already given Latin aficionados a major buzz with "Descontrolate" (Lose Control). She was a finalist along with JLo and Marc Anthony in the category of Dance Maxi-Single of the year at the 2003 Latin Billboard Awards.

With a groove filled sound that sounds like a mix between the early Destiny's Child and TLC, Yohany brings back the old sound in a new way. "All That I Want" is all anybody could want for a summer album. Hot beats to dance to,smooth vocals that are like a more street Jessica Simpson, and easy melodies are all included in this 10 track CD. Great sound and look, it's worth a listen.
