Yetta Brown is me...Robyn, and I mess with a bunch of different music styles. I sing, rap a little bit, and write a lot of lyrics. Trying to get into beat-making.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Indeed. I've been in a few talent shows, and I'm always doing open mic and kareokee on campus. I performed last April at the Dukum Up, my first paid gig, where I sang 6 of my songs, some of which are not on here. Performing is fun once I get past the first song, because I admit I'm pretty nervous at first.
Your musical influences
I'm greatly influenced by Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Gwen Stefani, and Fiona Apple.
What equipment do you use?
I make my beats on FL4 and record with Cool Edit Pro and a whack mic.
