Yellowhouse are are a four piece rock covers band formed in early 2000. The name derives from the artist collective formed by legendary artist Vincent Van Gogh, though the inspiration for the bands name comes more from a drunken weekend in Amsterdam rather than any artistic enlightenment!
All of the band members have a wealth of performance and recording experience and have been playing their various instruments for more years than they care to mention.
The band play a wide and diverse range of rock and pop music. Included in their repertoire of over 50 songs are classic songs by the likes of Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi and Thin Lizzy right the way through to more contemporary songs by Muse, Foo Fighters and Feeder. The band are continually rehearsing and refining their set and are always working to keep their set up to date with new releases as well as adding to their back catalogue of classic tracks.
Yellowhouse have played in a variety of venues and currently much of their work is concentrated on the Surrey and West London areas where they have a dedicated following. For the past four years they have also opened the busy Easter weekend holiday season at the Watering Hole in Perranporth Cornwall with great success and a packed house every year.
Yellowhouse are well positioned to serve any sized venue from small pubs and clubs to outdoor festivals. They have a variety of PA rigs available for use ranging from a small 300W setup right the way through to a 20k rig supplied by R&D Productions. In addition to this they also have a dedicated sound engineer, full lighting rig and have been known to let off the occasional pyrotechnic!Have you performed in front of an audience?Gig all the time,mostly southern uk.
