I don’t have much experience with urban funk, but I checkedyou make me smile 2. Nicccce sound. I really like the vocals. Nice blend of mellow sound and rhythm. Keep doin ya thing.

Great gig at the Headgate last night! (I was the skiing bass player from Kent who came and said hello to Phil in the Bar). My honest opinion? Fil is o.k. but really you should give Charlene lead vocals - she had soul, presence, style...everything! Otherwise you'll just keep sounding like a clone of everyone's favourite band from the Isle of Wight.
Please, please, please get out there and gig more. Get yourself a decent website and release that year overdue album. There's folks out there gagging for what you guys have to offer - what a position to be in!!!

Whew... What a workout listening to your awesome cuts... I read the band page info and looked forward to highly intelligent and yet moving stuff, and YCB did not let me down... Hats off to the collective, and don't ever do it any other way. Was way impressed with the thought that if it did not suit the collective, it wasn't happening... That's the kind of commitment that it will take, and you definitely have the talent and creativity. Many thanks for having one of my cuts on one of your stations...
