Sup peoples. My name is Skye, BKA Yahara by those who know me a little better. My sound and style is very versatile ranging from Ray Charles, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Billie Holiday, Kelly Price, Donny Hathaway, Louis Armstrong, Nancy Wilson, The Temptations... I mean the list just goes on and on. I am working on some professional stuff, but I have had some people bothering me to put something up so they can hear what the sound is like. Well, besides it being a little distorted (keep in mind I did this on my EMACHINES computer with no helpful software) I think it gets the point across. Tell me what you think though.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, I perform with a group called Topsy Chapman and Solid Harmony! They are three veteran ladies that have performed all over the world, including Japan, Amsterdam, Switzerland, etc. and throughout the United States. I look forward to taking some journies with them and learning new things about the industry and maybe even become a little more exposed myself.... but I love them to death.
On an independent end, I think the most special moment is when I sang a song in a competition and people that I didn't even know, but young and old, started crying and cheering hysterically. It really meant alot cause no one else got a reaction such as those from the other performers. I'm a person that likes to make people feel good and feel good about themselves, and I feel that through singing is one of the best ways for me to do that.

The list is almost endless- John Legend, Stevie Wonder, India.Arie, Peabo Bryson, Fantasia, Kelly Price, Faith Evans, Smokie Norful, Kim Burrell, Erykah Badu and on and on..... ;-)What equipment do you use?
Piano and a mic.... hell I'll just use a mic I'm that confident... I've done it before.Anything else?
