This is the XXavier Solo Project Download Page. This is a one man band project. I composed evereything here. This means that you could freely distribute this material provided that you don't get any monetary compensation. In short, don't pirate my songs. :)
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I learned how to play the bass in 2001. after that, i learned dums and some other music theory. i learned guitar in february 2003 and i never put it down since. :) This solo project started out in November 2003 with my cover/remix of "FLY" by Jars of Clay. A punk rock version though. :)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I can't play live. I'm the only musician so i can't do the stuff in the picture.
Your musical influences
I like all types of rock music, mostly from the 80s. My style is heavily influenced by the Juan dela Cruz Band of the 70s Filipino Rock scene and the early 90s OPM band, Teeth. My songwriting is influenced by so many different artists as well.
What equipment do you use?
I use Cakewalk Music Creator 2003's built in drum and bass synthesizers. The guitars and vocals are from yours truly. My guitar is a replica model of the 1962 Fender Jaguar used by surf bands, and I alsi have one multi-effects pedal, a Digitech RP200A. :) I also have a 4 piece drumkit with Zildjian ZBT cymbals, a few other electric guitars, and a Washburn XB100 electric bass.
