Wesley Skakun and Rick Xavier, members of the Richmond Fusion Collective, bring together djembe and acoustic guitar for a unique blend of original soulful music. Their colourful rhythms and harmonic progressions create a gently engaging listening experience for small gatherings.
With bassist John Larsen, XSL plays improvised electric music fusing elements of free jazz and progressive rock. Their music is an evolving expression of dense polyrhythmic instrumental interplay.
