Xoo is melodic spacerock, an evolution of heavy psychedelia, prog rock and sci-fi lyrics.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
SEA (Cheltenham) to Cathode Ray Mission (London) to CRMission to Xoo. But keeping reliable and competent musicians around has proved somewhat difficult, so if you're based in London/Oxford (UK), and play drums and like the music, get in touch!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at the moment - still need that most elusive of beings, a drummer who can keep time.
Your musical influences
The great UK spacerock bands: Hawkwind, Spacehead, Litmus, Bedouin, Ozric Tentacles and so on.
What equipment do you use?
PC running SONAR 7, variety of soft-synths and plug-ins, plus a selection of guitars and basses. Oh, and a voice (allegedly).
Anything else?
Kevin and James also play with the UK's leading Hawkwind tribute band, . They play live a lot...
