X links started in 2002 under the original name Viquel, it then changed to X links near the end of 2003 because not many bands begin with X so we thought people deserve an X in their cd collection. Both me (Laurence) and Dan met in college in are first year of college and started playing together, we fitted together pretty well since we both listen to the same sort of stuff like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and many others. For a while we had a bass player, but he left after a few months, Im not sure why, after he left are songs developed and sounded much better with just the two of us, funny enough. At the moment we are still in college and have only played twice at college, we hope to start 2004 by playing some gigs outside college to see how people react, hopefully they will enjoy are music and we want to record an ep so people can buy them at the gigs if they like us.
