XenesthiS- they are taking over your town...
XenesthiS don't simply play metal, they inhale it. The band is well known for their ass-kicking show and who has ever seen XenestiS performing live will easily loose control.
Varied passages, incisive riffs, twin guitar harmonies and powerful drumming establish the basis. If you want to classify XenesthiS, you could label them as a metalcore band.
In fact, the band differs from many bands that belong to that genre because of the female voice with a dark timbre, that contrast with the male shouts.They are truly talented in creating catchy melodies.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
2004, the five friends decided to persue their concerted passion and founded XenesthiS. This name describes a sort of tarantula.
XenesthiS gains live experience through concerts among others at WUK, Planet Music, Monastery and Dropkick- Festival. 2005, their EP „Straight to Infinity“ earned a lot of positive reactions around europe. The highlight 2006 poses their performance at Metalcamp in Tolmin/ Slovenia. They celebrated a stunning show with an amazing international crowd.
In autumn 2006, their current EP „Shades“ was recorded.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We try to play a lot cause it gives us the possibility to see if a song works. And it gives us that special feeling (by crying our hearts out in front of a crowd and working our bodies until we feel the sweat run down our backs) that we can only get while we are performing.
