WurldWyde

http://www.myspace.com/wurldwyde411 http://www.soundclick.com/thecuzinz http://www.soundclick.com/bassik WurldWyde was created in the summer of 1999 by six guys from different places that came together in the same town with the same dream to make music. We added an old homie to make 7. We all have many years under our belts, and have unique styles. Put it together and you have a little something for everyone. BTW, if anyone wants to buy beats, or colab, or want recording info, or whatever, e-mail us at wurldwyde411@gmail.com or hit us on the cell at (816)898-0015
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Current members are: BasSiK from Kansas City, Missouri. Jack of ALL trades and 1 half of the production team The Cuzinz. (still at it) JonWWon from Memphis, Tennessee. Lyrical master. and 1 half of the production team The Cuzinz. (still at it) WyldChyld from Atlanta, Georgia. The drunken' master. (still at it) Mazzacre from St. Louis, Illinois. The freestyle king. (on lock down, murder's a motherfucker) T-Mack from St. Louis, Missouri. The money man. (on lock down, over bullshit) Kodda from Chicago, Illinois. The enforcer. (around the way) Big D. The networker. (on lock down, over bullshit)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Since there are so many people in the group (6 at the moment, but we have a lot of other people involved too) we don't get together to play live too often yet. We are all struggling to survive life at the moment, and don't have the time. We have in the past though, and we LOVE it.
Your musical influences
Every one of us has different influences. That's what makes us so diverse.
What equipment do you use?
Right now we mainly run off of computer. Sony Media Software like ACID Pro, and Sound Forge. I couldn't live without it. We also use a 10 track digital recorder from Zoom with a built in CD burner. A Yamaha DJX 2 keyboard, BOSS DR-202 drum machine, and a keyboard from Radio Shack. We use what we can get when we can get it cheap (or free, you know the business).
Anything else?
We're tired of all the music artists out there who are fake. Some talk of robbin' and pimpin', and killin', but some (most) of them are full of shit. Every word we speak on our songs is the truth. If we say something about pimpin', you better believe we have/had the whores workin' the corner. A lot of you call yourselves pimps on songs, but where's your ho? If you ain't got a ho, you're a player, NOT a pimp. If you ain't killed nobody, then we don't want to hear none of this shit about you poppin' a trunk. Come talkin' that shit to some REAL killers, and you gonna wind up in trouble. Stay true to you. That's all we ask.
