Gary Fights is a Recording Artist/Songwriter based in Central Kentucky, who has been performing both as a solo artist and in various bands for since the 80's. Ethno, film, World, Ambient, Synth, mood music, rhythm. I work with synth, environment and experimental artsounds. I have made the soundtrack to a series of TV-documentarys for the Swedish Television about the situation in Rwanda/Burundi. When working on this project I got interested in the traditional African music. But my music is based on influences from the whole world.
I am a self taught pianist and composer, I studied with various teachers to learn the basic rules of music, and then continue on my own so far.
