Wolfface

One of L-burgs first emcees and co-founder of the belgian hip hop band 'Rhymedealaz'.Writin' and spittin' ever since the early nineties. I just dropped my solo album 'Leaving Tha Flock'.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Profile of Wolfface: It all started early nineties when Wolf rolled into the Hip Hop culture. At that time the famous TV program Yo MTV Raps educated him well. Artists such as the Beastie Boys, 2 Live Crew, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Naughty by Nature, Gangstarr inspired him to start writing his own rhymes. Soon he hooked up with X-Savia who was into producing Hip Hop beats. By the name of Rhymedealaz, Wolf and X-Savia worked out some nice underground tracks. They also did a lot of live shows in the late nineties with dj G-Razz and later on with dj Skpee which where dope! The crowd loved them and so in 1999 they brought home a prize awarded by the public during a famous Belgian music contest called Limbomania. Hip Hop music will always stay his first passion, writing rhymes in particular. And so he started recording solo-tracks on a more professional level, together with his producer X-Savia. They just finished Wolf's debut-album ‘Leaving tha Flock. The album contains nine tracks and features verses of his rhyme-partner in crime Mc D.O.C. and the singing of Mc Mary Jane, who both joined the Rhymedealaz crew. Also DJ Midleft is now an official R.D. member. During the summer of 2005, Wolf and his Rhymedealaz did a lot of nice performances including the Pukkelpop festival in Hasselt. Leaving tha Flock is out now, distributed by Lowlands! For more info, just check: www.wolfface.be
