William and Orlando are a Hip Hop/Rap/R&B/Krumping Performance Group. They have been performing for almost a decade, bringing their own unique brand of hip hop to the local music scene in Wellington, New Zealand. The two boast an infectious energy and bring an enjoyment to performance that is rare to see in any musical genre anywhere. Will, 22 years of age, is the Music Producer and rapper/ singer. He defines the musical sound through the beat making and careful balance of instrumentation, equalization, and professionalism. A solo acapella singer with various international titles to his name, his understanding of harmonic intricacies is unparalleled. He also has some legal experience and a competent understanding of International Business and Music Law. Orlando, 22 years of age, is the main artist/rapper and defines the energy and uniqueness of the group. The X Factor for this man is apparent. A husband and father of two, he has a rap style and sound that is infectious, and a way of selling a song to you in such a way that appeals across all age and racial groups. His natural intelligence shines through in all aspects of his life, evident in his few years working in the print industry to become the Top National Student in 2007. Orlando includes in his portfolio some of the country's top awards for work in the print production field. Their combined talents, skills, intelligence, and drive makes them a very rare combination indeed.
Band/artist history
The duo first performed together in the year 2000 informally for a High-School contest. Both were 13 years of age at the time. Up against some of the top competition in the school, they came out champions against a competitive field of acts and, became an instant hit among their peers. They continued to perform at school gatherings and public functions during their time at High-School. In the year 2002, W & O entered a local shopping mall contest and place fourth. In 2003, Orlando entered the mall contest as a solo performer and placed fourth again. (Although privately, it was later disclosed that the top 3 acts were pre-picked by a board of directors, which meant W & O would have won in 2002, and Orlando in 2003). Undeterred by this information, W & O entered the National Pacifica Beatz contest by qualifying in the regional competition with an original and catchy track, "Aotearoa". They were chosen by a New Zealand-wide panel of judges to submit a semi-final track, where they came with another catchy single, "Takin' it Back". Other school commitments forced them to cancel their submit their track for the finals, where they would have faced off against New Zealand's most talented and unique acts. In 2004, Will attended University, and Orlando joined the workforce. Five years later, in 2008, Will has a University degree in Political Science & International Relations, and is studying towards a Law Degree in International Business & Music Law. Orlando joined the printing industry in 2004, and in 2007 finished the year as New Zealand's top apprentice, qualifying him as the best print finisher in New Zealand. in June 2007, William & Orlando performed again for the first time in years, and showed the very rare skill they have - that they can still move the crowd and entertain like very few bands can do. Their X-factor lies in their ability to move the crowd, no matter what age, race or background. Their natural intelligence allows them to display an uncanny sense of rapport from entertainer to spectator. Their individual rap styles are unique and masterful, and fuse seamlessly to create an infectious vibe, layered by some bangin' beats provided by Will Hizzle himself. W & O plan to have their first demo tape out in 2009, and will perform regularly around events in Wellingon.

W & O had many successes in their teenage years, becoming the esteemed Hip-Hop group from their High-School during their time there. They have entered talent shows and placed extremely well in a tough and sometimes biased field, having fans young and old, black and white, from a large spectrum of society. Their greatest achievement has been to date, qualifying for the Pacifica Beats Semi-Finals, in a top 20 which boasts bands averaging 6-8 members, W & O qualified with only two members, a guitar - and 3 drum sounds on a backing track.
