I have always loved to sing. I started singing when I was five or six years old. I sang in a gospel quartet with my mother and father when I was twelve. I was inspired by Whitney Houston, Stacey Lattisaw and Michael Jackson. Singing and songwriting started out as a hobby; but I would like to do it as a career in the near future.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started singing solo about five years ago. I decided to record a CD. My husband and son are my musicians. My husband and I write all of my songs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I sing at different churches, and other functions. I love it. One special moment was when I sang at a pre-school graduation.

India.Arie, Karen Clark, Whitney Houston, The Christianaires, Kim Burrell, Ce Ce Winans, Tweet, Kirk Franklin, Tremaine Hawkins.
What equipment do you use?
Whatever is available at that particular function. But if I have to supply my own, I use a CD player, a mike, and a Peavey amp, when my musicians aren't available.
Anything else?
I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And I love to sing his praises. He knew us before we were born. Salvation is the most precious gift anyone could ever receive! I thank God for choosing me. I just want to be worthy of His dying on the Cross.
