I listened and like your music, it's different, so I don't think that you ever have to worry about being pegged into a category. It's recorded and played well, and I like the lyrics esp. "Beyond the smokescreen, what comes into focus, is the thing you are without", and the multiple meaning to "If you fall for me, will you land on your feet". Sorry to read about your cat (Linus). The first time that I moved away from home, what I missed the most, was our dog, so I know how important they become.

SOund-- I like the trippy quality of the song and I loved the whine to the vocals-- I am very interested in hearing more--- WE 4 would make some odd music!!! Hey every one of our songs are very different also---LOL --

Wide inside...
Len Jennings of Garageband.com gave a very flattering review of Thud, I'd like to share it with you: "Thud" Nice Lyrical Work Nice job singing Tina! Kinda reminded me of Liz Phair's first CD. This one has some nice phrasing. Loved the lyrics and what the story is about. Though most folks have to review blind. Even still, the song lyrics have some nice duality in their meaning. This is good because people can claim this song and make it their own. (I always dictate too much in my lyrics - and don't leave much room for interpretation. So I come off sounding cliche a lot of times.) Anyway, nice lyrical work here. Now, in contrast to "Break" I don't like the outro here. It doesn't really add to an otherwise pretty decent tune. I'd fade it out after about 15 seconds. Or add some vocal "oohs or ahhs or something to keep it interesting. Other than that this one is pretty solid. 4.5 stars from me.
