Just like the chorus says, 'Life is what you make it' I think people (myself included) get too caught up on the negative aspects of their life, and forget that the only way to make things better is to do it their selves.

This song is entirely built around a riff I came up with just playing around with my guitar, it sounded sort of bluesy and the vocal style and lyrics followed suite.
