Wheels of Confusion
Wheels of Confusion was formed less than a year ago by four music students from the Bury/ Manchester area. The thing that makes us stand out from all other bands is that we all have very different influences and styles individually but because we all appreciate each other's music it comes together nicely. Each member is an amazing musician and this shines through in our material.Band/artist history
Wheels of Confusion are the finest blend of prog, metal, blues, hard rock and jazz combined to produce a unique sound whilst still retaining true rock n roll power.
Formed in late September 2004 after meeting at Rawtenstall College. The band consists of four members;
Dave: Bass/ Vocals
Hunty: Drums
Horse: Guitar
Nev: Guitar
Wheels are currently nearing completion of their as yet untitled first EP. They have some quality gigs coming up and are gaining a loyal following.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live all the time, probably averaging about 1.5 gigs a week. We all love playing live and having just got back from Donnington it is our collective ambition to play there one day. We have had some great shows and some not so great shows mainly around the North-West area of England.
Your musical influences
Dave and Hunty are into their heavy shit, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, and other death/ heavy/ gore metal, Nev likes jazz, rock and avant rock such as Mr Bungle, Fantomas, Wes Montgomery, Social Distortion and Jeff Buckley, Horse is more of a Classic Rock man, bands like G n R, Led Zep, Hendrix. We all appreciate and like each other's music and all have a big love for Good, Hard, Rock 'n' Roll.What equipment do you use?

Horse uses a Marshall DSL 100 watt head with matching cab ad a Morley bad horsie wah, with a Les Paul, Jackson V and BC Rich Warlock. Nev uses a Marshall TSL 100 watt head with trace elliott celestion vintage 30's 4 x 12, Gibson SG 61 re-issue, Ibanez RGT 3120 Prestige, Gretsch Black Falcon, Ibanez Acoustic, Boss V-Wah, Boss DD-6 Digi Delay, Boss PS-2 Pitch Shifter, Boss Flanger and EHX Big Muff.Anything else?
