wetwire
this is the more industrial/ebm edge of the creative mind that produced version4. the focus is on hard harsh beats and synths. this is also more of a concept based project. thematically, the lyrics and basic imagery will center around technology in a post-apocalyptic context. the works posted here are rough draft versions as music revisions and lyric writing are taking place.Band/artist history
started in 2003 from the ruins of the first incarnation of version4... many of the tracks written for that project begin getting more aggressive in nature. it was decided that v4 would remain more pop accessible in nature and the more aggressive tracks were scrapped. after time, more and more darker, harder tracks emerged and the folder containing those tracks began to fill. one night, while reading a william gibson novel with 'the terminator' playing on tv and those scrapped tracks pounding in the background, (i highly believe in sensory overload) the idea of wetwire emerged. the project is rather slow in taking form, as i have several other projects to work on, but it's always there and being worked on as time allows.Have you performed in front of an audience?would like to someday... for the most part, however, wetwire will remain a studio project. but i'm not ruling out the possibility of doing some performances with live formatted edits of the songs and a rotating cast of additional personnel.
