WETPAINT is een allround coverband uit de kop van Noord-Holland. De band is ontstaan in 1982 met de bedoeling lekkere swingende muziek te maken. In 1995 na de komst van een zangeres en uitbreiding van het repertoire, heeft het de huidige naam gekregen. De band speelt zeer gevarieerd. Van covers van Eric Clapton tot Nederlandstalig, van Dusty Springfield tot Joss Stone. Ook het Goud van Oud wordt niet geschuwd. De bandleden zijn: ROB (gitaar/zang), BERT (bass/zang), ERNA (zangeres), PETER (zang/keyboards), JEROEN (drums/Percussion). Een groep muzikanten met een passie voor de muziek. In 1997 werd een CD opgenomen met 19 songs. Dus als u binnenkort iets te vieren heeft,of zomaar een feest of dansavond wilt organiseren, houden wij ons van harte aanbevolen om de avond muzikaal luister bij te zetten. Voor de prijs hoeft u het niet te laten, omdat wij muziek maken om plezier te hebben en niet om er rijk van te worden. Originals are great, but every now and then its nice to hear a familiar tune. Loved NIMRAV, by the way. I think I'll put it on my Soundclick station A VARIETY OF SOUNDS, along with another one, as soon as I can figure out which one, they're all so good.
