West LA
West LA is a work in proccess. We are a developing progressive rock band that has a few more components to go (lost our former drummer to an all Argentine metal type and we still still need lead vocals.)

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Too early state anything significant. Altogether though, 40 years of combined playing experience between 2 guitarists and bassist.
Turnover as been first drummer who played for
"The Used" and first lead guitarist for played for "Sinister Grace."
Xi Chen is now the guitarist for Perfect Disorder, but still plays with us and is a good friend.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yea, in the dungeon for now (our gig room where fingers fly) until we have sufficient material for the real thing.
Your musical influences
From the early 70's to now. Anything fast, slow and friendly without the "angry youth" thing going on.

Apple 17" Powerbook G4, CuBase LE and Garage Band applications; Marshall, Mesa Boogie Mark VI, and Peavey amps; 1986 Les Paul Standard, 2001 Les Paul Custom, Jackson Flametop SLSMG, 2006 Silvertone Strat model w/ 3x single coil. Ibanez Bass, Epiphone Air Force Special Edition, Epiphone Les Paul Speacial, Ibanez Artcore 335, Eurorack MX 1604 A mixer, 50 watt Peavey MINX 110 10" and Pioneer S-W50 50 watt Subwoofer for small gigs and studio work, Ampeg 12" VH70 guitar amp used with or without Peavey 4x12 Schefield speakers at 8 ohms, 250 Watt Radio Shack MPA250 power amp, Digitech GNX200 board, Tone Lab Board, Line 6 Pod 2.0 w/ 36 patch board and Wah and Volume pedals, 1990 Martin Sigma Dreadnaught-28 Acoustic, and G series Takamine Acoustic/Electric.
