I have been writing songs for about 16 years and write mainly Country songs about life and Country Gospel
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Wendy Wood has been writing songs for about 16 years. Over that time she has won numerous major songwriting awards including Tamworth Songwriters Association/ Capital News - New Songwriter of the Year in 2004 and has had a number of songs recorded my numerous artists.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I sing with a trio called Those Gals around New South Wales, Australia (Mainly the North West)I also sing at songwriting showcases and events on my own. The most special moment in any songwriters career is when someone is touched by your song enough to come up and tell you how much they liked it.

I have been greatly influenced by writers such as Dolly Parton,Diane Warren and Mary Chapin Carpenter
