Hey everyone out there. You have stumbled upon an east coast hip/hop sensation known as none other than Weed Unit. The group consists of 4 local Hornell, NY talents known as Iakfro, 3 Brow, Withaho, and B. Roc. We are strictly underground, but are creating a buzz anywhere we can. Our rhymes combine truth with humor to some it up the best. Definitely not your average rap group. Straight from the soul......Weed Unit!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Since this is Weed Unit, I will skip all the bull$hit we all did before Weed Unit came to be. In early 2003......Weed Unit released their debut album "Eating Away At The Flesh...We're The Toxic Waste". It was a local success which marked the beginning of the Weed Unit. At that time there was Iakfro, Withaho, 3 Brow, Lil B, Sleepy, Pizza Man, and Mr. Rogers. 7 members total. Now Weed Unit has become more focused and stands now with 4 remaining members,.......Iakfro, 3 Brow, Withaho, and B. Roc. During present times we are recording our sophmore album "Bacon 4 Daze In Da Haze On The Graze" which is set for an April 20th, 2004 release.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
As of now, we have little opportunity to perform live because of our current location. But if given the chance.....we would JUMP at the opportunity! No questions!
