1) Does today's music industry actually promote the artists/bands/music that the people like, or do they "choose" what is going to be popular/cool?
A: Everything being played on MTV and VH1 and all Clearchannel stations is crud crap and poop and skum, is Korroded Korporate Krap which is shoved down our throats by fooking Fat, Cigarsmoking Executives.
2) Give examples to support your answer to #1.
-Just look at the Top 10 of any radio station or MTV Countdown... EYYEEECH. Nuff Sed, Sodder.
3) What, if any, solutions do you think there is for this problem?
Kill all Kearchannel Stations... Bomb all K-Marts and Wallmarts... And set up PIRATE Radio Stations with Terrawatt Antennas OUTSIDE of US Jusidiction and then:
Hire ME to make the playlists for all the Pirate Stations HAHAHAHAHAHA
