Bobby "the Wrist" Wayland was born in 1961, the son of Cowboy legend Big Bill Wayland. Bobby was the founding member of the Jimmy Dougal Four back in 78, with Henry Clyde and Hound Dog Harriman. But that would not be Bobby's claim to fame, so he and Clyde reformed in 1994 as "Bobby Wayland, Jr. & the Henry Clyde trio" which included Travis McKee and Randy Floyd in their repertory. Then, during a tragic accident involving canyons and bungee cords, Wayland was lost to us forever in August 98. Much of what Bobby recorded in the late 60's till the early 90's was lost. This is Henry Clyde's tribute to his lifelong friend and musical conspirator.Your musical influences

This is none of that new-fangled queerboy pink t-shirt wearing line dance country music! This is authentic prairie folk western.
"Bobby Wayland was a chip off the old hickory block! In his voice stirs the passion of his father's urgent emotions...powerfully authentic cowboy & western. The world lost a great balladeer when Robert Wayland took that fatal plunge." - Country StandardGOOD WORK SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT BOBBY I NO YOU-ALL WOOD HAVE BEN BIG STARS ,,,
