WaterWashed
Waterwashed is a christian Acoustic rock band based out of Atlanta Georgia. With Passionate guitar playing, and soaring vocals, waterwashed is one of those bands that will make it someday.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Waterwashed was origionally a side project between members Dustin and Steve of crown of thorns, and Steven of distant from now. steven came about the idea of having an acoustic band after watching an acoustic praise service, dustin and steve, ready to jump on the idea then joined, with steven taling up the position of lead vocals, and steven and dustin on guitars waterwashed set to work on writing songs different from almost all bands in the atlanta area. After a while, Steven dropped out of his old band, and dustin and steve followed his lead, after they all realized their heart and soul was within Waterwashed. Thus the band was born.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live. we play wherever we get a show, but usually at local coffee shops and small venues. We wouldnt trade playing live for anything in the world, theres just something amazing about it. Special moments... well all our shows are different and each one special so pretty much every time we play is a special moment all its own.
Your musical influences
OUr main musical influences are bands like third day, dashboard confessional, mat neeley, steven curtis chapman, etc. but our influences range from classic rock, to punk, to hard rock.
