With its members living in different cities in Spain, Watercandle performs songs with its roots in american folk-rock, mainly in acoustic format, with psychedelic tones and blues, jazz or classical influences, but always looking for simplicity and beauty
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We were waiting and searching for a drummer for another project, , and we started to play acoustic, in a style that would not require a drummer. We liked the first songs we did that way, and decided to do more.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Rarely, because we live in different places
Your musical influences
For this project our references were Simon & Garfunkel, Peter, Paul & mary, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan or Neil Young, but we try to do things our own way.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars, bass, piano, mics, beer cans, liquour bottles, bongos, anything really.
The songs were recorded and mixed in a 24 track Tascam board.
