Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Wasif Malik & Ibrar belonging to City of Sohni. Gujrat Pakistan started from stage at the age of seven. Gifted with a God gifted melodious voice and dynamic personality, very soon he become a darling of crowds where ever he went. A good orator.&singer Wasif Malik completed his initial education from Gujrat and presently is working in national and international forums. A close friend of Ibrar-ul-Haq also got his inspirations from Taffu, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Kashore.
Wasif Malik prefers the poetry, rhythm and music in his recording and not going just for one aspect of these. Wasif does not restrict himself to one category ie POP or Ghazal etc though has less preference for POP. Wasif believes in originality in his work and thought process and considers that only this way the young artists of today can bolster.
