Heavy Metal Music | 1 tracks and 41 streams.

Warsynium is a local Massachusetts supergroup of sorts, raising from the ashes of Calypso (Nate/Zack), Tyranarchy (Joe), and Triton (Anders/Zack). It's hard to classify Warsynium as a genre, blending many elements of Powermetal, Thrashmetal, late 70's Hard Rock, metalcore, and classical with shred solos, harmonies, counterpoint and philosophical lyrics into a unique sound that you all hopefully enjoy.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The story begins when Nate Calebaugh met Joe Haryanto (then of Tyranarchy). Joe met Nate briefly while he was filling in Lead guitar in Tyranarchy for him while Joe was away in Chicago. Nate and Joe had more in common then they thought after becoming friends and jamming together, both of them had the same taste in music, musical drive, and even won the same guitar competition (Nate the year before Joe), and had the same teacher. After deciding to form a side project from their bands, they met with Dillon Ethier, Zack Orcutt, and Anders Olson of Triton, who were all willing to help out. The band had one practice and wrote/recorded an entire song called "Krakatoa". While things seemed to be speeding with Warsynium, tensions arose in Triton, Calypso, and later Tyranarchy, and the bands split up, leaving Warsynium a full time gig. Dillon later went off to college and was replaced by Mike Gerardi. Gerardi played the first ever Warsynium show, but due to musical differences and commitment issues, he was replaced by Rob Pollard (ironically enough, was rhythm guitarist and vocalist of Tyranarchy). Rob helped the band out and played a few shows until he was replaced by the band's artist, Nik Viola.
