Warren Passaro
Singing, playing, writing, recording and performing have all been a large part of 'who I am' since I was 14. If I could revamp something a comrade of mine mentioned in his bio - Some of my tunes are worth hearing....while some are worth 'shearing' - lol. Still, I have fun writing each and every brainchild of mine.
Throughout the years I have perfomed in many bands - Arcadia, Zylis, Turn of the Century, Dear France, The Aries Project, Curve, Brooklyn and Arrival being the major ones. Collectively, we have opened for Danger Danger, Joe Lynn Turner, Badfinger, Zebra and others.
I performed with Curve on Star Search '90 and we also did the cable show 'New York, Nu Rock'.
These days I am still in the mix with my own 'at home' studio. My friends lend their talents when I need - while I lend a hand where needed. I hope you enjoy my tunes as much as I enjoyed creating them. *Thanks for the positive influence, Craig!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been writing and performing since 1980. For the first 12 years - ricked the local scene with original music and tributes to some of the best groups and songs of the era. Writing songs is a passion that I feel will never die. Always try to combine catchy lyrics and energetic melodies all within a 'train-ride' home from my day job at times.
When it comes to recording vocals - I can usually lay a vocal track down in record time - sometimes 'nailing' the take in one shot.
These days, I've taken my talent, ideas and energy - and have embarked on a new 'journey' - Recording Vocalist for hire. Still involved with my own originals, and performing on other projects.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
